How Can Caerus Intel Help?

The mission of Caerus Intel is to increase awareness and understanding that translate into more informed decision-making and, ultimately, increase the likelihood of your success. Leveraging insights to turn unknown unknowns into known unknowns, and known unknowns into known knowns, informs the decision-making process and maximizes the likelihood of success. Addressing some of the following simple questions can help optimize the likelihood of success. Over the course of my career, I can cite numerous examples of manufacturers failing to meet expectations because these questions were not addressed, or not addressed adequately.

Who?

  • Who is the buyer/payer?

  • Who is the prescriber?

  • Who is the target patient?

How?

  • How are competitors' products positioned in the market?

  • How are they priced/reimbursed?

What?

  • What does the value prop. need to look like to resonate with all the relevant stakeholders? What are the key differences in expectations among the stakeholders?

  • What data/evidence will be necessary to support the value prop.?

  • What does the competitive landscape look like?

  • What will be required to positively differentiate the product from the competition?

Why?

  • Why are competitors' products reimbursed? (e.g., rationale for coverage policy/reimbursement)

  • Why are MDs prescribing competitors' products?

Irrespective of where you may be in terms of development, or your exit strategy, increasing your awareness and understanding will put you in a better position to succeed.
